Rust is the whole question here

Washers and dryers are where the qualifying rule actually bites on this coast, because a laundry pair kept in a beachside garage, on a carport or in an unconditioned utility room takes salt air constantly. Surface rust — speckling on the cabinet, a corroded foot, discolouration around the base — usually still qualifies for free removal. A cabinet that has rusted through, where the metal is gone rather than stained, is what does not. It takes one photo to tell the difference, which is exactly why we ask for a photo rather than quoting blind and arguing at the door.

The other local pattern is the storm pair: a washer and dryer that stood in water during a storm or a surge. Salt water is far harder on a machine than rain, and those often do not qualify. We would still rather tell you that from a photo than after driving out.

Stacked units, closets and condos

A lot of beachside condos and older mainland homes have a stacked pair in a closet rather than a laundry room. That is normal work: the doors come off if they need to, the pair comes out in whatever order fits, and there is no take-apart fee on either. In a building, tell us the floor and whether there is a service elevator when you text.

How it works

Washer & Dryer Removal — common questions

How much does washer and dryer removal cost in Brevard County?

Nothing, if the appliance qualifies. Text photos of it to (321) 604-1285 and we will tell you before anyone drives out — no trip charge, no upstairs fee, no take-apart fee. Appliances that are rusted out or very old do not qualify. Refrigerators and freezers are the one exception to free: a flat $49.99 in any condition, $99.99 from upstairs.

Do you take just one unit, or does it have to be the pair?

Either. A single washer, a single dryer, or the whole pair — if they qualify, the pickup is free either way, and there is no minimum. Text photos to (321) 604-1285 and we will tell you.

My washer is rusty from the salt air. Does it still qualify?

Probably, depending on how far it has gone. Surface rust and corrosion around the base usually still qualifies for free removal; a cabinet that has rusted through does not. One photo settles it, which on this coast is a question worth asking before anyone drives out.

Do I need to disconnect the hoses first?

It helps, but we can handle it. Shut the water off at the valves if you can; if you are not able to, tell us when you text and the crew will deal with it. There is no charge for that either way.

What does not qualify for free washer and dryer removal?

Appliances that are rusted out or very old. That is the whole list — everything else usually qualifies. Photos are how we check, so text a picture to (321) 604-1285 and you will know quickly, with no obligation either way.

Do you cover my city?

We cover Brevard County end to end, from Mims and Titusville down to Micco and Barefoot Bay, the whole barrier island from Cape Canaveral to Melbourne Beach, plus Sebastian, Fellsmere and Vero Beach in Indian River County and Edgewater, Oak Hill and New Smyrna Beach in south Volusia. See every city on the service areas page, or text your ZIP to (321) 604-1285.

What happens to my old washers & dryer after pickup?

Working units are repaired and re-homed, and some are donated. Anything past saving is broken down so the metals and materials are recovered rather than landfilled. Nothing goes to landfill.
